CASE STUDY OF A SUCCESSFUL CADASTRAL AUDIT OF HOTEL ASSETS

1. THE SITUATION

A company hired us to conduct a study of all its hotel assets and minimize the annual cost of property tax (IBI) payments. The company is confident that we will achieve a positive result in reducing overall structural costs.

Tinsa prepared a preliminary report to quantify which assets had a chance of success and to what grado possible to demonstrate to the General Directorate of Cadastre that the properties had been incorrectly assessed for some reason, which involved reviewing both future IBI bills IBI the amounts paid over the last four years.
