Compliance with Tinsa's internal rules of conduct
In March 2014, Tinsa approved its Internal Rules of Conduct (IRC), with the aim of establishing the mechanisms and principles of action of Tinsa, as well as those of its directors, managers, employees and appraisers, who are obliged to comply with them, in order to ensure adequate independence of the appraisal activity and avoid any conflict of interest that could undermine it.
The IRC determines that the members of the Tinsa Ethics and Crime Prevention Committee, together with a person in charge of the Technical Department (Knowledge Area), will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Regulations, and their functions will be as follows:
- Management and maintenance of the application for the control of incompatibilities of Senior Officers and Appraisers.
- Resolution of questions on incompatibilities and conflicts of interest that may arise and are not within the competence of the Board of Directors.
- Ruling on the appropriateness of issuance of prior appraisal opinions and valuation requests requested by companies of its economic group.
- Monitoring of the degree of compliance with the provisions set forth in these Regulations.
For the correct channeling of questions regarding the content, scope, interpretation and compliance with the IRC, Tinsa makes this Channel available to its directors, executives, employees and appraisers, in order to facilitate the management and resolution of any incidents that may arise in compliance with the IRC.
Body Responsible for Compliance with the ICR.
